Robson PBX
Even though the menu is extremely easy to navigate; you will find it even easier if you use a telephone that has frequently used keystroke sequences like listen to voice mail or divert all calls programmed on its user programmable keys. We have been testing the Doro Audioline Tel35 and have found that it works well and is a bargain in most high street shops at £14.95. Do try to use these types of phones as it will make life easier for everyone using Robson.
Do use your unused extensions to record answers to frequently asked questions like "how do I get to your office". "when are your opening hours" or "what is your postal and email address".
Wouldn't you prefer to tell your callers that you are either in the office but busy or you are out of the office and can't answer the phone. It's easy. Just allocate two unused extensions; say 7 and 8. Set up your own extension to divert calls on busy to extn 7 and divert calls on no answer to extn 8. Then record a voice mail greeting on 7 which says you are in but busy and record a greeting on 8 which says you are out and can't answer the phone. If you don't have a PC connected make sure you have given permission for each vm box to have their messages reviewed on the speaker so that you don't miss any messages.
